When his 7th grade basketball coach decided that his full name was one too many syllables to shout as he rebounded a ball like a baby giraffe with spaghetti for bones, Richard became Rich.
Now fully grown and mostly fully coordinated, Rich Fiset is a freelance creative director who has made work for all kinds of clients that ranges all kinds of tones. When he’s not making his kids laugh and his wife roll her eyes, he’s writing ads for the NBA’s next biggest star or recording low-key surfer rock. Rich has never surfed. Which is a good example of his imagination.
Rich has worn many hats, both figuratively and literally, throughout his career. He’s made work for AT&T, more AT&T, FedEx, Mountain Dew, Mobil 1, Planters Nuts, and H&R Block. At one point, Rich spent a week on the road with different truckers filming short documentaries about them. He also once shot a circus troupe in Prague, which was the most ordinary thing that happened on that production. Outside of consumer advertising, Rich has worked on a number of B2B brands and written numerous manifestos, something he actually enjoys doing. Before writing, Rich was a producer, so he understands that an idea with no feasibility is like a knife with no edge. It’s something, but it’s pretty friggin’ useless.
Skilled in all the wild AI engines, editing software, and other tools, Rich is always interested to hear what’s next.
